Description:
I didn't find any covers of this song so I thought I'd do one. There really should be more covers of songs from Weezer's second album. You remember, the one that everyone hated but then for some reason later loved? That's right, I'm talking about Pinkerton, an album which Rolling Stone magazine deemed second worst of 1996, but then 6 years later was voted the 16th greatest album of all time. There's good 'ole Rolling Stone Magazine for you! The video is choppy but I hope you enjoy anyway. I probably should've tuned down because I was dying at the end. Please rate and leave feedback! |

AndrewLargemanJones ::: Favorites Well, the album was just an unexpected avant-garde instant after the Blue Album. If the band was known for being more experimental, then the album would have gained the credit it deserved in the first place. But people just expected Weezer to be the status quo pop band. Not that they were ever that, but that was the image they were getting after the Blue. Great job, by the way. 07-08-23 14:45:21 _____________________________________________________

bleed0range ::: Favorites btw... do you know where I can get the tab/chords to this? You seem to play it exactly right. And your voice is awesome too! Pinkerton really is one of if not THE best album ever. I can't wait to hear the next Weezer album in '08! 07-08-05 02:57:54 _____________________________________________________
kaisayshi ::: Favorites I don't know which tab i used but just do a search and you'll get the basic chord progression down. The important chords to know are a B7 between the verse and chorus and a D7 before the bridge. 07-08-05 16:20:35 _____________________________________________________

johnnyonline ::: Favorites oh man, you're awesome! i love it.. i've always wanted to learn this one, surprised that no-one else is covering it. i might tune down though.. it's so high! Pinkerton is possibly the best album of all time.. not 16th. stupid fickle rolling stone. 07-06-08 08:29:31 _____________________________________________________
kaisayshi ::: Favorites Thanks, I love doing the falsetto on this song 07-06-08 23:13:40 _____________________________________________________
blank515 ::: Favorites It was rated 16th by the readers not the actual magazine 07-06-11 09:12:11 _____________________________________________________
johnnyonline ::: Favorites oh.. well goes to show even more so how little to take what rolling stone says seriously 07-06-11 09:41:59 _____________________________________________________
kaisayshi ::: Favorites Yeah, you're right. I think it was the readers that voted it the second worse in the first place too, but Rolling Stone also wrote 2 reviews that followed the same pattern 07-06-11 16:14:56 _____________________________________________________
johnnyonline ::: Favorites if i'm going to be honest.. i hated pinkerton when it came out too... it was ahead of it's time. too raw, too honest. in the context of what else was going on in music at the time, i couldn't process how good it was until years later. 07-06-11 18:18:54 _____________________________________________________ |
