Description: The Japanese ending to Dynamite Headdy is very different to it's English counterpart. The first thing you'll notice is the dialogue: which is present thoughout the Japanese version but entirely cut out of the English version (apart from one scene). Translation from http://community.livejournal.com/treasure_gamers/2794.html#cutid1 by helldray. Smily: W-what, this body.. That cool-looking guy wasn't me? That can't be! I'm the greatest doll in the world... Fingy: ...Sent to the greatest doll! You're a badge of honor! Smily: Eh? Fingy: You didn't listen to the whole thing, and mistook yourself to be the greatest!! Smily: B...but in that case, I'm not a doll at all, just a badge...? Fingy: And then finding a great doll, that's my job. Smily: W, well, that great doll, where is he, huh?! Fingy: Isn't he right before your eyes? The doll who just saved the world! Keep on watching for all the enemies, many of which look entirely different to their English appearances. Oh and in case you didn't know, Trouble Bruin/Maruyama is supposed to be a bear. Yeah. |

| Alianger ::: Favorites 2006-12-26 19:49:21 I finished the Jap version recently.. it was slightly easier overall, but Twin Freaks had a lot more HP! Which version do you prefer? I would've loved a translated plot and the japanese ending, but the gameplay was more polished and what did get translated was very much improved. I'm surprised Baby Face wasn't changed when the giant doll and geisha twins were turned into boring robots. __________________________________________________ | |

Which version do I prefer? Umm... not sure really. I think having dialogue is cool but the game is more... 'mysterious' and random without it giving it some charm. I haven't played it for a while actually, so I can't really say which one I prefer in terms of difficulty. I might play it again on my PSP. __________________________________________________ | |
