Aussie Rules players will often put their "body on the line" during the course of play. A player will stand and wait for a mark knowing that an opponent is about to crash into him from behind or throw himself into a contest with no regard to his own safety. In this video we see Adelaide's Jason Torney kick a long goal on the run. Two Hawthorn defenders attempt to touch the ball to reduce its score from a goal (6 points) to a behind (1 point) and in the process, Hawthorn's Campbell Brown crashes into the goal post injuring his knee. pcorf ::: Favorites It was a crazy goal, but one to be forgotten about if you are a Crows fan. It was Buddy's goal a that counted the most. With me as a Crows fan I knew at the time of that goal that the Crows are the worst team in these type of games. I was never confident we'd win the game. michaelv8686 ::: Favorites As a crows fan, this was such a depressing quarter of football to watch. After leading by about 20 points the whole game, we lose momentum and effectively lose the game in the last 30 seconds.
