Yes, Gary Hogeboom was knocked out cold. In fact, Mike Ditka has said that he thought [from the sidelines] that Wilbur Marshall [#58] might have killed him the contact was so swift and brutal. Yes, winning the game was important to these guys, but to the defense getting the ball and the quarterback was just as important. Their goal was ,,win or lose, the next day, the next week, they [their opponents] are going to know they had played the Chicago Bears!,,. And they all did...

theyre defence was like big blob swallowing everything around it they would DEFINETELY injur tom brady ive never seen him take hits over and over. bears have always been the greatest in terms of defence but this defence was unstoppable guys.
