Flintknappingtips ::: Favorites 2007-08-24 22:01:01 Mine is a delrin handle that I've had a long time w/ holes drilled in the ends. I need to make some more out of wood which is what I suggest you do. You might need to cut a slot instead of drill for more strength, then lash the end. Some flex is good but not too much. __________________________________________________

Flintknappingtips ::: Favorites 2007-04-16 09:11:34 You just need practice. This video is not geared for beginners obviously. I'll see if I can put together a basic tutorial for random pressure flaking on small points sometime, in the meantime I think there are a couple other videos on youtube that do show pressureflaking. __________________________________________________
coinstriker ::: Favorites 2007-04-16 01:29:51 I'm a noobie at pressure flaking(well noobie at making arrow heads etc.), was wondering if you ever use blanks, just got a copper bopper and am going to attempt to make from scratch like you did, I don't really know any thing about Deltas and all that scientific errata. You should make a vid. about angles and deltas etc. Awesome work, eagerly awaiting any new vids. you put out. Signed, I suck at this stuff __________________________________________________ |
