Description:

Professor of Theology and Scriptural Studies (and atheist!) Robert M. Price gives an educational lecture on pagan parallels to Jesus. Robert M. Price went from being a fundamentalist baptist, to liberal christianity to extreme liberal christianity to (finally!) atheism. This occured at a Minnesota Atheists meeting. http://www.robertmprice.mindvendor.com/ http://www.mnatheists.org/

Try Sodom, there was a rape attempt but that is never mentioned. Also, the homo thing is a total misfit, complete misfit. Women exchanged .... I thought there were only men? ANASHIM, masculine plural is always used to refers to a group of people where there is at least one male in the group. This never means all of them is male. Stupidity of the scholars.

Philostratus was commissioned by an empress to write the biography, giving financial motives to embellish. Philostrus was writing in the third century in Cappadocia, where Christianity and the gospels had been present for some time. So who copied who? It is pretty obvious that Philostratus copied some events from the popular Christianity spreading like wild fire at the time, trying to please the empress.

Most of what we know of Apollonius comes from his biographer Philostratus, who wrote almost 150 years after his death. The gospels were all written within a generation of Jesus. We have four gospels from four sources, Apollonius is basically one source.
