Because they were raised to be and are afraid of leaving or changing, or they haven't even read the damn Bible. I went to church for 14 years growing up and I never once read the Bible in Sunday School. They don't want you to know, because actually reading the Bible is a great way to lose faith. My background is completely engulfed by Christianity--- entire family, friends, co-workers, and everyone I know. These people are fanatical, and most of these people are in the Black Community. I know there are people out there like me, unfortunately.
